Suit Up: Praying in the Spirit

Paul tells us that we do not fight against “flesh and blood”. He means that we are not at war against other people, but we are subject to the reality of spiritual warfare (spiritual obstacles and opposition). If our opposition is not flesh and blood, then it means the solution cannot be flesh and blood. It must be bigger than ourselves. Paul points to this reality as he wraps up telling us to put on the armor of GOd. He writes in Ephesians 6:18 “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”

Join us as we answer the essential questions:

What does it mean to “pray in the spirit”?
What role does the Holy Spirit play in our life?

We also ask two additional questions:

Have you been given the Holy Spirit?
Have you given yourself to the Holy Spirit?
