“But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” 2 Peter 3:8-9

What does it mean to be loved by a God who sees a day as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day?

It can be nerve-wracking. To know that God is not a quick fix God. To know that God will not eject us from our current situation.

It is also encouraging. That we are more than “our last at-bat”. God sees us as more than what we currently are.

Join us as we develop a longer-view of God, and learn to rely on His timing and His promises.
